Papers in English and Spanish will be admitted.
Abstract submission deadline: 2nd May 2016
Notification of abstract acceptance: 6 June 2016

Conference: 5-6 October 2016
The official language of the conference is English. However, papers submitted in Spanish will be accepted and sessions will be organized to accommodate both languages in separate sessions.
In order to submit your abstract please follow this link. It is recommended that you prepare your abstract in a word file and copy/paste your text on the link given above to avoid any loss of work due to expired sessions on the submission page.
Abstracts format: We are expecting participants to submit extended abstracts (max. 1000 words) explaining the scope and objectives of their research. Relevant literature and expected results should be included in the abstract as well as the methods used in the research. 5 Keywords should also be submitted along with the abstracts. Participants are also asked to choose the tracks that best suit their papers.
Poster abstract format: Abstracts for the posters should be prepared in the same format as the abstracts for papers.
Short Papers: It is recommended but not required to submit a short paper in addition to the abstract. The objective of this is to facilitate evaluation of papers for peer-review publication either in journals or books (to be confirmed) once the Conference is over. Short papers will not be considered in the process of abstract evaluation, but they might increase your chances of being selected for publication. Short papers should be around 2500 words (max.) and should include:
Name, affiliation and contact details of all authors
Short abstract (50-100 words)
Theoretical/conceptual framework, relevant literature, methodology, results, discussion and references
There are no strict requirements on formatting of the papers as long as the style is consistent throughout the text. References can be in any style and should include author(s) name(s), journal title/book title, chapter title/article title, year of publication, volume number/book chapter and page number.
Long papers: After the conference is over, participants whose contributions are selected for publication will be asked to write full manuscripts. These manuscripts will follow a peer review process before being published in peer-reviewed journals as special issues or as book chapters. This will be confirmed after the conference and the authors will be informed about the process accordingly.
